2013
The history of Faine Misto festival begins in 2013. The first festival was held in Ternopil city center (July, 20-21) in Taras Shevchenko park on the Chaika island. 2014
Second Faine Misto festival was held in 2014 during two days (July, 12-13) at the Ternopil international airport. More than 40 famous artists from Ukraine and guests from Italy and Sweden presented their show on three music stages (Main Stage, Rock Stage and Rave Box Stage). Broadcasting of the final game of FIFA World Cup on the big screen took place within the festival. 2015
In 2015 Faine Misto Festival was held during 3 days (July, 3-5) at the Ternopil international airport under the slogan “Faine Misto – territory of free people”. The festival featured more than 70 artists on 5 festival stages, a sport area, beauty salon, bike rental and a lot of other entertainments. The most famous national artists, bands from Sweden, Georgia, Belarus, Poland, Australia, Russia and Austria performed at the festival. 2016
In 2016 the festival added a full day and for the first time was held over 4 days (July 7-10), and was held at the Ternopil airport. More than 100 artists from all over the world (famous foreign and best Ukrainian bands) performed on 6 stages. Besides the music program, the festival had different entertainment locations: sports area, beauty salon, bicycle rental, movie screenings, literary scene, lectures, street theater, children’s area, playing area, amusement rides, karaoke, handmade fair and workshops. 2017
In 2017 Faine Misto festival changed the location and moved to the Ternopil Hippodrome. The brightest festival adventure of the summer took place on July 20-23, for the second time in a four-day format. Last year’s entertainment locations expanded and were complemented with an amusement rides park and trolley. 2018
Faine Misto`` in 2018 - it is not only a music festival, but it is also literally the City of Free People, with its own architecture, citizens, laws, and local governments. At the Festival entrance, every resident of the city received a passport of the Fainyi Man (Nice Man), which he was able to register by contacting the local registry office at the festival. It was also possible to legalize one's marital status regardless of race, religion, gender, education, and hair color. The only law that remained, which is unchanged in the Free People's Territory, was the Constitution of the Fine City (rules of the festival), which was observed by the Fine Mood Patrol. 2019
In 2019, Faine Misto met its residents, Fine`s People, for the 7th time. In 2018, the festival turned into a real city, a city of free people, which was divided into separate districts, each of which had its own, unique look and attractions. But the most important thing at the Faine Misto is the atmosphere of the festival - everyone who enters the territory, even for a few days, but forgets about any everyday problems and worries. Whi;e all the days of the festival, only love, joy, and a full feeling of freedom reign here. 2020
In the end of 2019 the world was gripped by a pandemic, leaving Faine People isolated without the opportunity for mass events and warm gatherings. Over time, adapting to the circumstances, the festival universe declared: If Faine People can't visit Faine Misto, then Faine Misto comes to Faine People, embarking on a journey through cities with bands like Motanka, Epolets, and Space of Variations, also involving local groups to recreate the Faine Misto atmosphere in 14 locations. All quarantine restrictions were considered, therefore, the number of tickets was limited, the presence of a protective mask and a temperature of no more than 37.2 were mandatory. This journey saved the festival summer for Faine People.
2021
The next year was a ``KaiFAINEmo``: the Preparty Tour traveled to 17 cities across Ukraine, where happy festival-goers awaited it as each live performance was a breath of fresh air for them. During the tour, festival programs were presented by O.Torvald, The Unsleeping, Denoi (Czech Republic), and 40 local emerging bands. Volunteer selection also took place in each city, giving individuals the opportunity to join the festival's work and become part of its friendly team.
Fine Misto is not just a music festival, it is a city in a parallel reality, which could be entered through a magical portal once a year. Once here, life full of daily worries and monotonous mundanity is replaced by a world of rest, entertainment and leisure. It was like this every time until the pandemic took over the world. Humanity began to lose its sense of freedom. That is why on July 28, 2021, when the new world reality became commonplace, Fine Misto opened the gates to its world again so that everyone could find what is rightfully theirs: freedom and lust for life. FAINE MISTO X ROCKOWA NOC
In August, the Polish festival Rockowa Noc joined forces with the Faine Misto festival, transforming into a charitable event in Rzeszów, Poland. Usually ``Rockowa Noc`` is held on weekends, organisers added an extra festival day in 2022 to collaborate on a charitable cause with Ukrainian colleagues. This event served as a breath of fresh air for those made to leave their homes on the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The charitable Faine Misto x Rockowa Noc festival became an expression of gratitude to the city-rescuer and a symbol of friendship between Ukrainians and Poles. Sick Solution, Ignea, Space of Variations, Stoned Jesus, Karna, and Korpiklaani took part at the festival. All proceeds were directed towards assisting Ukrainian defenders.
2022
With the start of a full-scale invasion, the Faine Misto festival completely changed its vector of movement. There was no chance of holding a full-fledged festival, so in order to guarantee security in the conditions of martial law, Faine Misto Online was announced, where for a symbolic donation, the most dedicated festival-goers received access to a closed chat, where on the dates when Faine Misto 2022 was supposed to take place, there were many waiting for them surprises from the organizers. During the online festival, Fine People had the opportunity to enjoy exclusive performances and video greetings from many artists, including: Me and That Man, Bad Omens, Arch Enemy, Heart of a Coward, Ghostkid, Beyond The Black, Onuka, Amaranthe, Eluveitie, Druga Rika, Zhadan and dogs and many others. Ukrainian artists were in constant contact in the chat, and the announcement of each surprise was made by the constant host Myach Dreadbol. In the morning there was a reminder about charity and video calls with the Pastor of Fine Misto. Everything is like at a real festival. Among other things, as part of Faine Misto Online, a flag with autographs of the participants of the Wacken Open Air 2022 festival was raffled off. During the Faine Misto Online festival, about 200,000 hryvnias were collected, which were later added to the purchase of a crossfit field for the fighters of the Azov NSU brigade, who undergo training.
2023
For twenty long months Fini People did not meet on the territory of the festival, during this time everyone experienced so much that some of them would be enough for several lifetimes - we multiplied experiences, engraved moments on the shelf of our own life memories, reflected a lot and learned a new life. But the time has come to talk about it, so by making a powerful effort, the festival Portal was able to open and accept everyone who needed it. Being able to safely hold the 2023 Faine Misto:Stories Worth Hear proved once again that nothing is impossible for the Fini People, as a significant amount of money and inner energy was raised to promote Victory. The Civilian Readiness Center - the Serhiy Prytula charity fund, the location of the Azov NSU brigade, where useful skills and pre-medical assistance were taught, and others were added to the locations familiar to Fini People. The representatives of the team gave topical lectures and answered visitors' questions. And the festival line-up was filled with Ukrainian artists: Zhadan & Sobaky, Vopli Vidoplyasova, Odyn v Kanoe, TNMK, Khrystyna Solovii, Grandma's Smuzi, Zwyntar, The Unsleeping, Palindrom, Krykhitka, dity inzheneriv, Epolets, hatespeech, Rome (Luxembourg), Structura Shchastya, Violet, Detach, Motor'rolla, Tember Blanche, Lely45, Ignea, Rollix, Nytso Potvorno, Yulia Yurina, Renie Cares, Sasha Boole and others...
